My favorite Alternator... A really cool looking character (bot and alt mode)... And Im really hoping they squeeze in a Uni. 2.0 version before its all over... But if they dont... I think a really good option is (based on the leaked concept art, etc) Movie deluxe Sideswipe... He has a similar alt mode, and imo bot mode too. And in pearl blue, I think it'll be cool... And wheels for feet seem fitting for a Bot named Tracks! Whatch think??? (Sorry, I know this topic is VERY early as we still havent seen the toy or film footage!)
The concept images we have seen for movie Sideswipe look absolutely nothing like what a Uni2.0 Tracks should look like. Hell, it doesn't even look like what a Uni2.0 Sideswipe should look like. No. Corvette'ish TF's do not automatically make a perfect Tracks figure.
would make a nice Movie Tracks repaint if blue, or Movie Sunstreaker if gold, but Classics? eh. iunno though, i suppose its mossible. unlikely, but possible, it would depend in the toy. but prbly not

Yeah I agree with this. I'm hoping Tracks gets an upgrade in Universe soon. Probably won't be before the Movie Sequel toys take over, but hopefully when Universe makes a comeback afterward.
No. The movie aesthetic - like the Animated one - is too different for a toy from that line to fit in with the Classics.
This. I think cybertron Hot Shot is probably closer than anything from the movie line. Kinda like reprolabels having a set for Movie Ironhide to turn him into universe Trailbreaker. And he looks good, but not like a Universe Trailbreaker should look.the aesthetic is just too different.
A Cybertron Hot Shot repaint into Track and offered in a two of sorts like they did with the Ratbat/Springer deal. I think that would work if not a new sculpt. And to me Movie Sideswipe is dead for a repaint into Drift. The head and weapons make for a nice Movie version to me anyway.
i hope we just get a new tracks...but you know they'll repaint movie sideswipe into movie tracks...and that kicks ass...i might buy two so i can put one with my movie toys, and one with my tracks shelf...
A new universe tracks needs wings. Perhaps we'll get one. I do think the '08-'09 classics fit in better with the movie aesthetic while the 06'-07' molds work well with the cybertron line. Has to do with lines and the intensity of mechanical detail. Gotta have my mecha.
