No, they renamed him Alpha Quintesson once someone caught on. They even redubbed some episodes with the new name, and it's what the toy was released as.

Anyways, to the topic at hand. Nice that the OP thought enough to point this out for people that may have missed it (and as has been said, Peugh's pics are gone). The better transformation definitely helps the figure, a lot.

 

Well, maybe it was old news but thanks for the tip, I was transforming my Snarl wrong until today! Looks much better now.

Guys, guys, guys! I am not stupid, you know. I KNOW he's Snarl. I was just commenting on where the portmanteau 'Snarlag' comes from!

This is true all though his alt mode is of slag he has the snarl robot mode which people usally forget like how the hell to spell decepticons.

Ah, gotcha....Never watched the show, and didn't pay attention to the name on the box of the toy. I was just going by all the laughs that everyone got when the name first surfaced on the net.

Tell that to the people who are STILL complaining about the name on Energon Downshift's packaging

I'll assume "Snarlag" is an amalgam of Snarl and Slag since no one directly answered my question.
