#1 | | AUTOBOT MAIN FRAME Join Date: Dec 2008 Posts: 224 Location: Autobot headquaters Collection Count: Always changing | 2 different Laserbeaks? I have here two different Laserbeaks. One of them has the Takara 1983 stamp (the one on the right), the other has no stamp and says 'cassette' on the underside (the one on the left). Can someone tell me if teh 'cassette' Laserbeak is worth more than the other. |

#5 | | Predacon Join Date: Oct 2008 Posts: 446 | Laserbeak's probably a fake. There was a series of knockoffs in the 1980s that used the original Microman box art and which had "CASSETTE" written on the back. If it were a genuine vintage Japanese toy, it would say "TAKARA".
I'm no expert, though, so look around.  |

I'm no expert, though, so look around.  | You are correct. If they say Cassette they are fakes. Anything made by Takara will be stamped Takara, sometimes you have to look pretty hard to find them. That Laserbeak you have went with the same knockoff company that made Cassetteman. It also came in Blue / grey. There is also a frenzy that is red / white. It is also made by the same knockoff company. I hope this helps  WANTED BADLY
