    yeah, page 3 of those pics has close-ups of that bludgeon. it only was three paints-black, white for the face, and maroon for the details. pretty easy.

    what paint did you use that does look easy

    Everyone does, thats why he's so damn expensive.

    tamiya acrylic paints--hull red, white, and black, applied by hand. and you're right, it was easy ;)

    you can get them at hobby/radio controlled car shops, or online at towerhobbies.com. the paint bottles are about $3 each, and shipping is, unfortunately, about $9. the brushes I use are the testors 3-packs that you can usually find at walmart where they have model cars. cost about $3 for that pack, as well.

    PS: Is it just me, or is that BotCon Jazz SOOO unworthy of being included as a classic filler??? I'd rather a str8 repaint with no retooling than have that Shite mold!!! That just is NOT Jazz.

    If it hasn't already been recommended, Cybertron Armorhide makes for a good Pipes homage, and a repainted Energon Offshoot makes for a decent Perceptor.

    I sort of agree. The head sculpt is really the only nice thing about it, imo. I had the Smokescreen repaint of the mold, and honestly I think it's one of the worse molds to come from Cybertron.
