Instead of only having pictures of the newest gunship alone, I decided to take comparison shots. These first two pictures show the difference in appearance while in robot mode. As you can see, the new longer doors give Clone Pilot #3 a little more height.

One of my problems with the republic gunship mould was that it used the early design with the "half-doors" from AOTC. This is much better. I was really tired that day, and I didn't reallize that the shoulders had been changed too. Now there is a circluar detail added to the outer body of the nose area. Look right behind the red bombs, in the dark triangle.
