So along with the new Imperial walker and the black shuttle there is a republic gunship in the assortment. I thought this was just a refresh of the old version but on closer inspection today I saw that the new gunship actually has a deco change. If you saw the clone wars movie or the show youve seen the ww2 pinup art. While this new version has pinupart on the nose. Just a heads up for those that care
I dont have an image of the actual toy since i did not buy it but this image from a lego set is the same graphic on the transformer.
I'd be really interested in seeing some good pics of this thing if anyone has it. It almost looks in some packaged photos like it has translucent blue windows instead of clear.
Here's a pic from Entertainment Earth: It is a redeco and it looks like the "side doors" are closed or it is an illusion due to the small size and poor image quality. I guess we'll have to wait until we see better pics of it to see if it is a mold change or not but the deco is new.
I've got him, he's standing on one of my shelves shooting at my TV chair. This Gunship has remolded (longer) side panels that enclose the trooper bay and eliminate the laser-pods that would stick out of the open doors. He has the head of the original Gunship, and not the remolded head of the "whale/shark" version.
