Has anyone else noticed that which each wave of classics 2.0 the prices at HTS seem to keep creeping up little by little? Like Wave 1 for deluxe was mostly $9.99 but the newer Hound, starscream, etc. are already starting at $10.99. They increased the prices of the voyager class from $24.99 to $26.99 as well kind of mid-wave 2 .. do you all think this is demand driven or could the cost of making these really have increased to the point where they had to pass it along to the consumer?

Nothing real pressing but it got me thinking .....

There was a price increase announced recently by Hasbro I believe. Also, those coupon codes almost make the spike a non-issue.

And it's the Ultras that've gone from $24.99 to $26.99, not the Voyagers.

But yeah, we've known the prices were gonna go up for awhile now.

Yeah, they're raising prices. My suggestion is, DON'T buy from HTS...their customer service is garbage. They wouldn't cancel my order, because the order slip had made it to the warehouse, my item wasn't even ready to ship, and they still would not let me cancel it. It's like the girl on the other end wanted to make it as difficult as possible. Their representatives are garbage, and their prices are overpriced.

I'll only buy from HTS if they have a code. IMHO, the price rise is NOT the thing to be pissed off about, it's the shipping increase. They used to ship a deluxe for around $4. Now it's $7!!!! That's obscene.

Yeah the one and only time i have really ordered from them was during the fall blitz where they offered 20% off and the free shipping. I was able to save a ton of money by getting my classics that way and taking ones back to Target I had previously bought, not to mention wave 3 which was hard to find in stores at the time was readily available through them.

I just didn't know what prompted the rise in prices but it seems like it was expected and/or announced by Hasbro from the posts here. Kind of a bummer though!

Yeah, they're not the smartest in the world, although they were able to switch my orders semi-properly, and get me the discount I had originally intended.

    The rep sounded suicidal, though.
