i was just wondering whats with the legends line
is it ment to be dedicated to the smaller bots from the g1 line? or is there more to it than that |

Optimus Prime has been released as a Legends figure more than once now. Legends is just a cheap alternative to own a character and not have to shell out twenty bucks for it. And the size is nice because they don't take up a lot of display space.
Or if your like me you buy both the twenty dollar figure AND the Legends figure just to have it in both sizes. "First comes smiles, then lies, Last is Gunfire." Stephen King DT5 | |

Medium/Large characters: G2 Megatron, Hound, Jazz.
Minibots:
Beachcomber, Brawn, Cosmos, Bumblebee.
Plus Animated:
Optimus, Prowl, Bumblebee ,Starscream.
So a bit of everything, scaled down & simplified. I need a g1 Swoop neck. Pm me if you have one to sell. Please. |

#4 | | Look like a million bucks Join Date: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,760 Location: The Advent Void Collection Count: A MILLION | According to one of those recent Hasbro Q&A sessions, they recently had the idea of using Legends Class in Universe as the means to present a bunch of small-scale G1 characters ie. Minibots.
But that was never the original purpose of Legends. They were just small, inexpensive versions of various characters, and have been used in that manner for Cybertron, Movie, Classics, and even the current Universe figures. The upcoming Brawn, Beachcomber, Bumblebee, Cosmos, Warpath and Wheelie are the exception, not the rule.
