my solution for messed up windows is to use transperancy sheets. you know, the clear plastic sheets used on projectors back in the day. just remove the old, trace the shape, cut, apply your glue, and let dry.

 

Just got my KO SG Rodimus today... It's a bit tight. The nub that attaches to the chest needs to be sanded a bit to snap the chest. It came with two flame/missiles (one red and one black). The left arm came off of the socket from the shoulder. I might need to put some super glue to tighten the connection. It's all good.

I've been meaning to post this for a while. I got a knock off Star Saber (full size). He was ugly as sin, so I took my time, took him apart and painted him to look like a G1. I'm not the best at custom jobs, but he looks pretty good. I'll post some pictures when I'm not at work.

 

be sure and grab the labels from reprolabels. i did the same thing.

 

Good to hear about your success. I bought one and a used G1 body. The idea was to use the accesories with the used one but it ended up being in worse condition than it seemed. So I'll probably end up using the KO.

 

i was lucky with my ko, only the waist was the wrong color. it had some slight yellowing too so i shot it with kyrlon while i had it apart.

Made by "PAUDI MODEL", it's packaging has a recolored movie Bumblebee on it. The figure looks actually really nice - anyone know what it's made from?

 

OMG I want this. They re-shelled the Alternators Smokescreen (which was a WRX) with a Chevy Cruize.

Yes I know I linked to Silverstreak. He was just less busy then Smokescreen with all the racing livery.

That's the first Alternator/Binaltech mold for the Subaru Impreza, with some minor adjustments to the car mode. Based on the Silverstreak release, I'd say (from the head). Looks like the parts might be diecast... nicely done, though you can get the KO metal Impreza versions reasonably cheap.

Assembly of the package could have been better. Upon preliminary inspection, there are some telling differences between the original and this. Will do a proper comparison tmrw if I have the time.

 

The card that come with it shows SG Rodimus' 'stache and goatie...  

 

Dang, that Cruze re-shell looks pretty good, actually. Just needs a different head and he could be the alt. version of any of the lesser-known Autobots.
