Looks like a Kabaya kit or a KO of one, but not easy to tell without some sense of scale.

Not sure, but my son saw it when I opened the page and is confused they would make a transformer that turns into a box.

Yeah, I'd say KO. The plastic looks pretty low quality.

That's definitely looks like a KO.


And no, Prototypes/testshots are not always grey.
A lot of the time they cast them in random colors. Such as red animated Bulkhead and Blue Cybertron mode Megatron.

He knows - it's his son that's never seen a cassette before...

And yeah, I'd say KO, or possibly a Kabaya (I'm not really au fait with them). It wouldn't be a proto, though. The plastic doesn't look great quality (which would lead me to KO, though I've never seen a KO Buzzbeak before, especially with weapons as well), and while no, protos aren't always grey or clear, and can come in many colours, they do usually (exclusively?) only come in a single colour, not two-tone like this fella.
