And no, Prototypes/testshots are not always grey.
A lot of the time they cast them in random colors. Such as red animated Bulkhead and Blue Cybertron mode Megatron. http://www.tfwiki.net - I'm a pepper! Wouldn't you like to be a pepper, too?

And yeah, I'd say KO, or possibly a Kabaya (I'm not really au fait with them). It wouldn't be a proto, though. The plastic doesn't look great quality (which would lead me to KO, though I've never seen a KO Buzzbeak before, especially with weapons as well), and while no, protos aren't always grey or clear, and can come in many colours, they do usually (exclusively?) only come in a single colour, not two-tone like this fella.
