So I'm at a loss here. Why in the world does Universe Galvatron (who is 100% badass, btw, imho, etc) have two extra feet in his backpack? I just can't figure it out.

The feet are, I believe, part of an intended (but never finished - or was it?) third "space cannon" mode.

    ahhhh...ill just repost it here...

I'm pretty sure I just figured it out...

Here is a good use for the footsies.

Honestly this looks like what there are used for along with the tribute to Megatron and his Scope Seat mode.

Now that's something. I thought the gray "feet" just pop out to make the unofficial thride mode.

Looks like there's quite a bit of homaging going on that I didn't notice before. I also just spotted the sculpted on missiles at the rear of the tank mode. A nod to Action Master Megs' Neutro-Fusion Tank, perhaps?

I've actually found that having the feet extended on his backpack in bot mode makes it easier to rotate his right shoulder. It seems to guide the turret around the backpack.
