Love mine, It is one of the best looking megatrons out there. I've transformed mine once to gun mode and back with no issues. I was very careful as I had broken my MP-03 Starscream which, to me seems more fragile, especially the shoulders/arms joints. Megatron in gun mode is massive and very detailed and makes me want to go shoot up some Autobots. No problem with his Scope for me, perfect for getting them Autobots right between their optics.
This is a great adult display item not intended for kids, which makes it even more special to me.

I just don't see anything good about this other than someone saying they got an MP version of Megatron. I just don't understand... Anyone else think he's not worth the money AT ALL!!!

I might pay $30 or $20 for that figure.
Seeing and holding the figure in your hands are two different things. Until you've held one in your hands and transformed it, it's not really fair to claim the figure "sucks."

The only problem I had with the transformation was getting the chest to fully pop up when going back to robot mode. Granted it took me quite a while to transform him the first time (if only all first times were that long and drawn out!), but I was able to do it and almost without the instructions.

The only other issue, for me, is that it's bloody hard to pose him and have him stand for any length of time when you have the upgrade kit attached in the mega cannon mode (or what ever it's called).

Given the alt mode (a gun no less) the robot mode was bound to look a bit flimsy, (the original toy wasn't much better). It's a lot easier with Prime and Starscream where core of the toy is a box.

He's one of the figures we thought we'd never get. Like unicron he was one of the most requested figures in the fourms and one of the most heavily dismissed by other fourm members. But we kept hearing: they'll never make it, he'd have to be a tank, they'll make Galvatron first. But every time some one would ask what the next Masterpiece figure would be a Megatron gun poped up. He's proof that you never know what a company will do, what happens if you wait, and the power of whining in a forum enough times by enough people. These days we are getting many of the figures we would told we'd never see in the Beast Era. Who knows what our whining will get us in the future.

I'm hoping for a newly improved unicron to be honest, one that closely resembles his g1 counterpart. What I'd be willing to accept is a re release with g1 accurate paint apps. I saw someone repainted the armada mold witht he accurate colors, and I must say, the mold looks 1000 times better!
