Does anyone know if the Henkei figures with chrome have any specific flaking issues?

This thread is awesome! These pics are a great reference. Thanks for the work in taking all these photos.

For everyone that is a 'Classics/Henkei' enthusiast I (with input from other members) have created this thread as a huge list of all the new molds that originated from Classics, Universe 2.0, Generations & Henkei (it doesn't include repaints from previous lines like Cybertron, Energon, etc...just the new stuff) along with links to reference sources such as this thread. It list all the figures Alphabetically (Post #1), and is cross-referenced by: Mold type (Post #2) and by Line (Post #3). Also, there is a list of all 3rd Party Accessories designed for 'Classics' style molds (Post #4).

Why is it that the newer figures have such a tendency to have chrome flaking, while older figures like my 23 year old Sixshot are still insanely shiny. Even my G1 Ravage still looks shiny. Is it a change in the process, or is it just about chrome placement?

Thanks GrimlockAutobot for letting me know where I could find a Thrust.

and all the photos should be moved to the first page, instead of having to dig for photos. This thread is still relevant because the CHUG comparisons should heat up once Henkei gets rolling with their interpretation of Generations.

I vote for a sticky for this thread as well. I used this thread when I first started collecting Classics/Henkei, and I still love coming back here to check for updates. I'm glad that the pictures are still coming in. Plenty of thanks to Trailbreaker77 and the others who have added to this thread.

Any chance of seeing Sideswipe here? I know they're practically identical even down to the hue of red, but I just thought it would be nice to have here for reference and to make this thread more complete. Someone posted earlier a link to another site comparing the two, but again, it would be nice to just have this thread as the one spot quick stop. :thumbs2:

He's no Megatron or Astrotrain, but if Prowl is in here I just thought maybe Sideswipe should be to.

Again, I understand it takes time to do all these photos, and I'm sure I don't speak for myself when I say I truly appreciate all the work that has been contributed here.

Trying to find one, been in the market but I have yet to find one at a decent price. Looks like I will have to import one, won't be until after I pick up an MP Grimlock though.

I actually prefer the Universe Sideswipe as he is almost identical to the Henkei figure except he has a red spoiler whilst the Henkei one is chromed. This is essential for Sunstreaker but detracts fromt he figure for Sideswipe IMO.
Apart from the spoilers I'm not sure there are any differences at all between the two.
