theyre really great figures...very nice paint work all over, high quality figures....no loose joints or anything....EXCEPT...im very disappointed with thundercrack's weapons coz they fit very snugly in jet mode but they just fall off when i try to fit em on the shoulders...i managed to keep em in place to take a pic, but they just fall off if u move him...they dont fit at all...
cant give the superglue treatment coz they wont fit in jet mode if i do..so after spending so much on em, its kinda disappointing to have that kinda problem...thats something i expect from hasbro, not takara  
i just keep them held in his hands, and they fit fine, but i still find reason to complain...apart from that, totally love em..

Awesome seekers. I really wish Thundercracker's blue was a bit more navy or royal blue. That looks to baby/electric blue to me....But anyways, cool figures man...sucks about TC's weapons not wanting to stay in the shoulder slots...for how much Takara charges for these things, thats bull$%^&.

I got the loose launchers too   None of my Classics launchers fit, either. The hole is just too large.

Oh, bull, mate. Takara can be just as bad as Hasbro for quality assurance. It is a collector myth that TakaraTomy (and Japanese toys in general) are of a higher quality assurance standard.

Anybody remember Galaxy Force Soundblaster where they bolted the upper and lower halves of his torso at an angle, making it impossible to transform him into vehicle mode properly? Or how about GF Chromia's crooked face (her eye was halfway down her face)? Hasbro's Cybertron releases fixed those.

 

Mine are being shipped to me now. then I pass one on to Thunderscream. I paid 36cdn for mine including shipping. Thunderscream's will be a touch more as I gotta ship it ot him. I suspect his'll be 46 when all is said and done.

How much are they going for? I had a family contact which was how I snared mine.

 

from wat ive heard, and from wat i have (classics/henkei and masterpiece), takara's QC is much better..so i'd generally expect this kinda mess up from hasbro...thats wat i meant...however, i dont own that many figures and i go by wat people say so i could be wrong

the best thing to do for loose weapons is to apply clear nailpolish to the pegs and place them in..makes it very snug and very stable. it worked great for me!

 

fun pics! those figs are awesome. but yikes as everyone mentioned, it's the price that's kicking my ass. i dont know if i should wait and wait for it to be cheaper or if i should wait...and wait and then pay more once they stop shipping them! bummer.

 

i know but see...they fit great in jet mode, under the wings...so if i do the nail polish/superglue thing, it might fit the shoulders but might be too 'thick' to fit the holes under the wings...

thanks   they are awesome indeed, but the prices ARE high...but if u wanna get em, get em early..coz theyre exclusives n will probably only cost more if u wait...

 

If they fit already in the wings, won't the nail polish make it too tight to fit? Would it not be better to apply the nail polish to the holes on the arms?

haha   i tried that already, but it doesnt help on this one   but like mentioned above, i'll try appying nail polish or superglue on the hole itself, instead of the cannon's peg...that should work..or blu tack, like someone suggested

Got mine Friday! Loose holes on both arms, again tightening the screw did nothing.   I think this is my first Takara with a QC issue besides paint.

 

that sucks...its definitely wide spread, everyone i know who got it has the same prob

 

Yeah. Odd that it's only TC with this issue, SW is fine. Although on both my SW and TC the left front landing gear/nipple is loose. Are yours the same way?

All in all I'll gladly take these issues over the foot/tailfin issues of the botcons! Both my Botcon TC and Dirge have broken foot or tailfin hinges!
