The Big Lots KO's are nice on display, but CRAP in playability. I have the KO Scourge, and although it looks decent on the shelf, the plastic is brittle and the joints are horrid. I'd imagine RiD Galvatron would be worse witht he complicated transformation and all (saw it once and passed).
I have the KO RiD Galvatron. Save your money. It's awful. The bot mode is OK, but it doesn't really transform into any of his other modes... well, maybe the dragon is passable... the jet if you stretch your imagination... but that's it. They've taken out a lot of the joints and pegs needed for most of his modes. Skip skip skip.
I had the Dragon a while back, and it wasn't too bad. Plastic was thin in spots. Definitely for display only, I transformed it a few times, but I doubt it would hold up to much abuse. I bought it just cause the black dragon looked cool IMHO.
It's not Scottish so its... *say it with me all* CRAP Seriously though I bought it a few years back and it's total crap If they have the BW TM2 Megs KO get that one instead, just watchout for a loose pin that keeps the dragon head on.
Haha gotcha. They do have both of them. They're 12.99 though, and for 20, I can get a real one of either loose at the local comic shop. I was just wondering if they were really bad plastic.
I bought the KO Optimal Optimus from them about a month or so ago, and all it did was make me wish I had used the $13 to help get a real one. If they're only $20 at your local comic shop, and they're 100% complete, just buy a real one.
They did have that Optimal Optimus too, I remember seeing some comparison pics of him online before and read that he wasn't so hot. The RiD Galvatron I'd never seen before though.
Not real good pictures, but he made an appearance in my comic once upon a time. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/1559832-post855.html
