I'm often tempted to make Leader Megatron of my desk and play with him in Vehicle mode. That thing is huge!

 

The Two Pack is good for a little kid.....

I like the Priem from the set but the Megatron not so much.

 

For a 9 year old? Get the voyager Prime/ Leader Megs combo if you can. I'd only recommend the 2pack for the younger kids.

 

C Prime + Voyager C Megatron?
Wait til Activators Megatron and get him and Activators Prime.

if u want to be careful (don't know if anyone else has said this so sorry if they did) just get the Optimus Prime activator to start with....the 2 pack is the best value for both honestly though. You can't go wrong with the $20 Optimus though. He's is one of my favorite Optimus's that have been produced. If you're going for one, i'd throw my vote in with the $20 Optimus, but to be safe the 2 pack is definately a win.
