Not knocking the figure itself, but for an ultra class there's a lot more to be expected for the transformation scheme.

I kinda felt the same way about TF:A Leader Megatron. For such a large figure his transformation is like a simplistic Deluxe, or maybe even a Scout.
Still love the guy, but it makes it feel a bit less worth the Leader price to me.

Erm... I don't have Universe Silverbolt though, so for more on-topicness just ignore me as I have nothing to add to that. :)

I think I said in the Silverbolt feedback thread that I don't understand why people rag on Silverbolt for his simplicity, but ignore it on TFA Leader Megs. People is weird.

I usually just look at the box to see what the robot mode is supposed to look like or vice versa and take it from their. The only time I recall using instructions was with my first handful of beast wars figures.

It's not the simplicity, it's the fact you could separate the whole jet part and you'd have two complete (and better looking) toys.

Yes, he was simple. No, I don't watch video reviews. No, this isn't flame baiting. Thank you if you helped. F*ck you if you were a d!ck.

I've seen too many morons on here whine & cry about breaking something because they thought they were smart enough to not follow the steps, regardless of how easy it may be. Forgive me for not wanting to throw $25 away like so many of you who don't seem to see a problem with it. Must be nice to be a millionaire.

And, again, thank you very much to those who weren't being massive tools.

    You use the instructions?

Or do you just like to have them?

Start to worry when you're paying $40 for Ultras like we do up here in Canaduh.

Oh, DON'T make me go there..... Wanna discuss retail prices? *snip*

    Phew. Close call.

Anyways, Universe Silverbolt is a nice G1 homage, and for all of those who just can't stop bitching about how "simple" he is, stop buying toys intended for kids and only go after MPs and such instead then. Simple does NOT equal bad!

He's alot cooler than I thought he'd be, that's for sure.

Y'know...for a robot with a jet on his back... :rolleyes2

But, yes. It was worth the free gift card. :thumb

:D  Yeah, a free figure has to be pretty bad before I complain about it.

Jet on his back or not I find him rather enjoyable. Frankly, I like the fact that he's easy and quick to transform. I really hate figures that take you forever, because you have all sorts of little things to fiddle with... it's great for Masterpieces and what not, but it's not so great for figures in a line aimed at kids primarily.

this thing looks so close to G1 Silverbolt, they should have just put the connectors in his limbs to attatch the other Aerialbots...

    $25? I don't want one THAT bad...

Right, but if I hated him, that free-ness could've been used for $25 worth of other toys (they had two 25th Anniv.G.I.Joe Iron Grenadiers & Activator Ratchet, which I could've gotten)...but I like him.

I'm good, but I'll keep you in mind for the future, just in case this happens again... :thumb
