Beside RID Megatron Megabolt that I already have, may I ask for reviews on BM Megatron itself? Oh and, also, can I swap Optimal Optimus' head with that of BW TM Megatron's head? A friend of mine wanna sell his Optimal Optimus, and I'm thinking of minor modification on head, simply swapping, to pay tribute to Megatron's last form on BM, the Optimal Megatron.

BM Megatron is a cross between that little dragon Eddie Murphy voiced in Mulan and a can of Pepsi. Not an impressive toy.

Ya the toy is pretty bad and is not really recommended. Optimal Optimus's head would also not work on him either as I dont think it would fit and it would look too big on him anyway.

Errr... a lil' misunderstanding here.. xD

I mean, BW Megatron's head on BW Optimal Optimus' body. Is it possible? >__>
If yes, gonna hit the deal ASAP.

I own both Optimal Optimus & Predacon(Armada repaint of TM Megatron) and don't think you can do it. I do however think there was a reissue of Optimal Optimus with a remolded head of Megatron at the end of BM, don't quote me on that though.

Nah, the furthest that I got from TF Wikia few mins ago was Primal Prime, no Optimal Megatron.

Nope, never happened. It was only released as Optimal Optimus and Primal Prime (in the Beast Machines line).
As for the BM Megatron toy, well. A better name would be "Minitron". Seriously; he's tiny. The only reason I can see for him being a Mega class figure is the dragon wings. His transformation is average, and his gimmicks don't work very well. If you can get him for next to nothing, do so. Other than that, I wouldn't bother unless you're trying to complete the BM line (that's why I have him).

I was planning sometime to kitbash an Optimal Optimus into Optimal Megatron. I was gonna find some junker TM2 Megatron to try and swap heads with. ...And by swap heads, I mean cut out the faces. Perhaps you can try that? I wish they'd just put that toy out, man... Make it an exclusive or something, Hasbro!

...Then again, I'm just wanting more shit to add to my BW/BM Megs collection. :sly2:

As for BM Megs' toy... yeah, it's shitty. I mean, it's sturdy and all, I can chuck it at the floor multiple times and the sucker survives... But it's not a big deal to pass up. (I didn't for reasons mentioned :drunk ) You know it's bad when his McDonald's toy was more show-accurate.

In 2004-2005 when Takara finally got around to releasing the Beast Machines toys as "Beast Wars Returns" (corresponding to the airing of their dub of the series), there was a persistent rumor of a release of OpOp with a remolded head.

That never happened, nor was the OpOp toy ever released at all for the BWR line.

I REALLY wish Mainframe would have done at least a color swap to the Op Op model. Megatron looked weird enough in that body (Prime helmet WTF) without those HIDEOUS colors.
