Wal MArt always seems to get stuff first. The thing I love about the Wal Mart close to my house is that a little flirting goes a long way there. Like one of the other posters, I go in about 2 am. I flirt abit and they will crack open boxes for me. Gotta love a chick who never gets attention! ..... I am a man whore, don't judge me.

 

Speaking as someone who has about 8 years experience in cleaning floors in grocery stores and a nursing home. If the floors are cleaned once a month, the other 29 days or so the floors will look shitty. Now don't get me wrong, there is NO way that they should block aisles from one end of the store to the other, that's just f**king stupid. And the propane uber buffers they use are the fastest way to shine the floor. You don't wanna know how long it takes with an electric buffer....

On topic, I stand with the 2 a.m. shopping crowd, to the point that when I worked 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. I would go shopping on my lunch break to avoid the crowds.

 

HA! thats awesome, too bad all the workers in the toy section are dudes at the local Wal-mart.

 

There are 2 girls who are less pleasing to the eye, who do stock at night. I get my food and everything from there. They ALWAYS stop working and talk to me. I told I collect and one of them eamils when the boxes come in and askes what I need!

 

Has anyone noticed that Bumblebee is misspelled on the Legacy of Bumblebee Walmart Exclusive three pack? Its spelled "Bumblebe" on both ends of the one I purchased. Is this a rare error or is it common? I have pics but I am on travel.

 

you all are lucky to have 24 hour walmarts! i usually try and hit my local ones when in search of toys weekday afternoons. and if they have a plant section with a separate door, i will park at that end to avoid the onslaught of people slowly blocking up the entrance as they wander in. i dunno, i feel like around here people at walmarts are on slow-mo...and i am usually doing my best to zip around them. but yes, your experience is the same as mine, tons of people everywhere...

 

eff it, i decided tomorrow i'm going back into the jungle to get the legacy of bumblebee. i just have to get it and it's been eating at me. my mind is saying, you have 2/3 figs in there and you don't wanna go back to walmart but my crack addiction is saying go and get the sum-bitch.

 

I live in a collage town and our west side Wal-Mart is always like that.What normally is a run in run out always turns into a 20min marathon with hurdles.

 

My Walmarts of evil had the blitzwing voyager wave and movie exclusives in stock, but Blitzwing, Fracture, and Breakaway were all taken. Blah.

 

Yeah I actually live in a town that's directly in the middle of two college towns, so I usually plan on spending at least 45 min's in the store. Most of that is spent waiting in lines and trying to get around groups of college kids standing in the middle of the aisles bs'ing with each other...

 

Yours isn't the worst I went to one nearby to me and they were under construction! and to top it off they were still open! The cieling was literally coming down!

At the front section of my walmart, yeah. Bunch of sloooooowwwww people where I live, I've literally seen snails slither faster.

Back half is almost always dead (where the TFs are). I'm usually alone at the back of the toy aisle. But then again, my walmart hardly gets exclusives at all.

Here's the dumbest part.

When an entire new toyline comes out, they have EVERYTHING that is currently availible (they had a crapload, and I mean a crapload, of animated stuff when it first hit shelves). But as for restocking, god they're horrible. They're still slinging out Movie Line crap (not exclusives, but Jungle Bonecrusher/Salvage era Allspark crud).
