Allright I saw this asked in another thread but nobody answered it, so I thought I'de try throwing the question out in a thread all its own for peaple like me who are wondering about this- In the new Transformers crossovers line, we are getting some of the star wars TFs reissued it seems in the clone wars white ad blue packeges.. If anyone has bought these, can you please tell us if ( they still ) come with the little drivers/pilots figures each came with back in 2006/2007 when the line first came out.. If not that really sucks so any help with this question is most appreciated..

    Thank you!

The ones in the clone wars packaging don't come with pilots. So I always try to get them in the 30 A packaging.

Also, it appears that at my WM, the ones in the clone wars packaging are priced at $9.98.

I thank you for the info, I was afraid of that no pilots.. How hasbro could make that mistake is beyond me, with all the hate peaple have shown towards the SWTF's. At least the one positive thing most agreed on with these toys was how cool it was that they came with little drivers (Kinda like the old diaclone figs) That was a huge saving grace for this line.. So of course hasbro takes it away :0) .. Cant make it up lol.. The worse part is the upcomming figs that have new paint schemes such as Jungle AT AT ( The figs that are not just straight reissues, but actually "new" in some way from the originals) they wont have pilots then.. My point is anyone wanting to buy the "new" repaints of SWTF will now get screwed with not getting pilots with them.. Although you could argue just use the pilots one has from the original SWTFs of 2006/2007 when not in those vehicles.. But still, come on was it really so hard to keep giving us the pilots with any new SWTF's, thus keeping that saving grace when so many love to bash the SWTF's.. Who ever is at fault for this move by hasbro, should recieve a pink slip asap.. Because when it comes to any TF's, its the little things, the details that make all the difference in the world.. End of rant lol..

The hasbro star wars team said in one of the Q&As that the only reason the pilots were ever included was because they didnt want kids to think that the mech mode was supposed to be the real person. The did further marketing and found out kids arent that stupid. So with all the other TFs going up in price they omitted the pilots to reduce cost rather then raise the price of the figures which are already kinda pricey. If you consider avoiding a price increase a reason to fire a guy I feel sorry for anybody that might or may work for you

yeah they probably can afford it but they have to keep the share holders happy. It's the American way. Shareholders > TF collectors.

The only one I picked up was the blue Obi Wan because I like the blue over the red color and he was pilotless. Your best bet is to get the ones in 30th Packaging. I at least hope they will release a new pilot for the Tie Bomber; I'd love to have a mini Tie-Fighter Pilot.

I don't mind no more pilots, I'd probably lose it anyway.

Hey thunder97, if you're looking for some SWTF's with the pilots, send me a PM. I wouldn't mind getting rid of the ones I have.
