    Got the legends class color variant (more accurate) of movie 1 Ratchet along with his ROTF Desert redeco. Also got the rest of the haul from Japan thanks to Buyee. Mainly Japanese exclusives legends/legion/EZ-collection figures from magazines and other campaign items.

    Just got the new Sunstreaker. Ever since I first saw this toy I kinda wanted to use him as the Siege Cybertronian mode Sunstreaker that we never got. My only issue was that I wasn’t too keen on the head sculpt.

    Well, since I now have two Earthrise Sunstreakers thanks to the recent 5 pack, I decided to run a little experiment. Both have the same size ball joint for the head so it works!

    I will warn you about a couple of issues if you want to similarly mod yours. The Earthrise head sits a bit higher than SS head so it doesn’t flip into the chest as neatly as the original head. I did find that if I spun Sunstreaker’s head around that it fit more easily. The real issue is the panel that the head rests on is super tight on my copy and trying to flip the head back out was a pain since there’s less clearance now. I ended up having to use a spudger to get it started. The first time I tried flipping it back out the head popped back off the ball joint rather than the panel flipping back out. So it works and still transforms but be careful.
