My $25 Legacy Armada Megs came today. That seems about the right price for it. I ordered it from Bullseye Deals, so I am just relieved everything was there.
It was labeled as new, but the tape was cut on the top, and the figure had clearly been taken out and put back.
Most importantly, I am relieved that I didn’t sell off my old power punch Armada Prime when I tried to…so now I can recreate boss battle scenes from the PS2 game!

Like many others, my United Wave 2 figures showed up!
I can only say that these are some of my favorite figures from Legacy in what feels like a while. Starscream and Sandstorm are especially noteworthy.
Silverbolt is a great modern Beast Wars figure, I think him coming out shortly after Tigerhawk makes him shine a little less brightly in comparison to the others. I know they are different in a fair few aspects, but Tigerhawk is just such a more impressive figure to me.

So much to catch up on.

    1) A G1 Megatron reissue (2007). Holy grail.
    IMG_0548.jpeg
    IMG_0553.jpeg IMG_0559.jpeg

    2) PotP Grimlock (along with Cyberverse Spark Armor Grimlock; just a coincidence of timing). I vastly prefer both to SS86, and will be selling my copy of that off on here shortly. (So, hey! Heads up!)
    IMG_0600.jpeg IMG_0602.jpeg IMG_0537.jpeg IMG_0531.jpeg
(By the way, if you haven’t seen how Spark Armor Grimlock transforms, look it up. It’ll floor you, in a good way. Super slept-on figure. Leaves you with a kibble-free Grimlock in both modes while also being dead-simple.)

    3) The bulk of the Cyberverse Spark Armor line in general. Just waiting on Optimus and Cheetor to come in. (Skipping the giant Ark version of Optimus.)

encore megs is my last remaining grail I'm hunting. How much did you pay for yours if you don't mind my asking?

I got it at a steal from Suguraya, a Japanese hobby store/site, for 20,000 yen (approx 140 USD at current). Came boxed and unstickered, with just minor packaging edge scuffs and chrome wear around joints, which lowered it to a Rank B by their very high standards.

Unfortunately not sure if they ship outside Japan.

I jumped on it because I’ve only ever seen one other here for around that price, and that was loose in a shop. Other Encore Megatron I’ve seen online recently have all been above 40,000 yen—sometimes considerably so.

(And no worries! I think we should all be comfortable talking about what we pay for things on here—encourages transparency and perspective. Good luck hunting!)

    Current weekend haul in Nagoya:

    1000027789.jpg

Don't usually indulge in Valkyries, but recently swapped to a better job so decided to treat myself a bit!

If you don't mind me asking, what prefecture were you in? I live in Okinawa (which doesn't have a lot of the hobby shops), so most of my finds are whenever I travel to the mainland 1-2 times a year. Suruguya is often hit/miss for me, though I've had my fair share of decent finds there as well.

I’m in Tokyo. Surugaya is hit or miss both in person and online (though they’ve tended to have something tantalizing every time I’ve visited in person). Online you just have to get lucky with timing. I’d been scouring sites and Mercari roughly once every day or two for a Megatron recently, and happened to get lucky this time. They might have only just put it up.
