I took a picture of the peg which had the price, product name, and codes and went straight to the customer service desk. They tried to scan the code in the picture, but it was too blurry, so they called a manager over. They could read that it said Transformers Gen Studio Series Asst so they knew I wasn’t trying to pull a fast one. At one point they tried to scan on the app, but I pointed out that was a third party seller asking $15.99.

So while at work, I saw that we restocked the tf section and I was shocked. Shocked I say to see legacy Evo at all.
Fun fact. My work(Walmart) has had the Legacy Year 1 wave with Pointblank,Skullgrin etc etc for months. 0 Legacy Evo. Until today
They decided to skip all of Evo and go into wave 3 with Armada Megatron and Blitzwing only. No deluxes. They literally have Evo and non Evo Blitzwing on the same shelf. Lol. Anyways. Snagged my childhood Megatron!

 

I didn't expect to like this guy about a thousand times more than Scourge but here we are...

 

Ok so here in the UK, someone spoted Battlemaster Optimus Primal in the UK Store The Entertainers weeks ago. I've been going to the local Entertainers and they didn't have him into now.

For a battlemaster size toy, this transformation isn't as simple compared to Skullcruncher as it has more steps and is annoying to transformed.

Basically the steps are
1 Rotate the head.
2 Pull back the lower half of his body.
3 Flip out his gut.
4 Rotate the arm outward to like a T pose.
5 Flip out the gun nozzle from his inner part of his arms.
6 Fold the arms together (with the ball joint folded inward aswell) and at the same time, tab the arms into the pelvis/ stomach side!

It's the last step that is super annoying! There barely any gaps/ clerance in the shoulder area meaning, without some fiddling, it's hard to fold the arms inward and tab into the side stomach at the same time!
I mean you get there eventually but I imagine impatience kids will either break the arms or leave noticable marks at the armpit/ shoulder area!

Well it's a cross with the G1 thread but this Menasor in the back is comprised of the oldest transformers I have (legs, had them since they came out and I was a little boy) and Motormaster + the hands which I recently acquired

 

Yesterday was my Birthday and I’m officially 25. So let me show you what I got.

Master verse Skelegod was such a shelf warmer. Like my Walmart had to clearance him twice. But wow he is a King to pose with, like a master class for how menacing he looks. I know the show was divisive but maaan!! Skeletor went to the Gym and became Boss of this gym.


Now for Robots: SS86 Sludge
He’s…okay. Sad part is his legs are loose? Is there a fix? But outside of that this big boy is a gentle giant.


And this is a good transition from SS86 to live action.

BB Arcee is a sweet heart just by her appearance alone.

I’ll be honest, I doubt they’ll do it but I’d like them to do the T30 version I’m more familiar with him being a Tangerine Vampire (imo) although I love this look, won’t argue. But I’ll be fair and say he gives me Jack Kirby vibes.

Than I traversed to the realm of Walmart….last night…and found Rhinox from ROTB and Legacy/Evolution Blitzwing there.
Strong but intelligent. It amazes me that this is a mainline figure and he feels good to hold. I’m more of a fan of the Hammer SS is rocking but…The Machines guns are no slouch.


Finally…The crazy triple Changing Berserker, Blitzwing.




Yeah not a fan of these giga gauntlets but I think they can work. I tried adding them on Blitzwing’s hands and they’d maybe work as artillery guns he’d use to clear a path.


I probably mis-transformed him but hey I was tired after a while.

And after turning him into Robot mode was both pain yet not at the same time…looking at you legs
Like I’m not hating, he’s a Chad, he’s got legs to stand but Maaaan…I gotta transform a lot for those legs to loosen up but wooow….

The character is one of my most favourite when I was a kid.
This 3rd party version give him much better articulation with stylish original alt mode.
Released a year ago, but it’s my first time to meet him … grabbed no matter what … the Go-shooter (Siren).

Got ROTB Optimus Prime and Mirage today! Its funny, they both arrived on the same day but like an hour or two apart: I went to pick up Optimus from the post office, got home, opened him up and as soon as I was done posing and taking photos I got a notification for Mirage being available for pickup  



Ended up giving Prime Bumblebee's gun from the 15th anniversary 5-pack, fits like a glove!

 

Unfortunately no better paint SS ROTB Bee at my Walmart, but found this big boy.

 

Opps 100 KO cassettes I have NEVER SEEN before. I realize now while typing this that trumps most people's standard cassette collections.
