Why are they in g1 style boxes?

Man, my desires of reissued g1 targetmasters and powermasters are affecting my focus... I was straight up assuming since we got other g1s recently, that these were them.

Found him on eBay for a pretty decent price. Just missing a single missile (I put the other one in the toybox for now). Still looks good, chrome is almost perfect, and has both wing missiles. If I find another missile for his cannons one day, I’ll be happy. If I don’t, I’ll still be satisfied.

been away for a few days. as i was driving home got an alert that a package from HasbroPulse had been delivered. whos waiting for me at the front door, the big fellow, DEVASTATOR!!!

i cant believe i finally got this guy for a decent price. i started collecting Generations just before Combiner Wars was released. missed out the first time around. so this has been my holy grail for years.. love it. 

 

both of these bad boys (the IDW Rodimus is a custom made by Switt that I did a little work on as well, the base is TR HOt Rod and the chest, collar, head, and back fin are all shapeways.

my chest piece is correct, one left piece, one right piece. i saw your first post before opening mine. so i was curious what mine had. i was actually kinda hoping mine would have your missing piece. but that was not the case. sorry youre having to deal with such nonsense. i really hope Hasbro can get you squared away. or maybe you can find the person that got 2 right side pieces. best of luck with everything.
