The Tranformers toys in Pat Lee poses thread

So the recent thread on the infamous Pat Lee and the discussion on his choice of perspectives and poses when drawing TFs (which always follows when his name comes up) got me thinking and I thought it might be fun if we started posting pics of our Transformers in Pat Lee-esque poses. We've got a lot of creative people on these boards who can do great things with photography. So grab your cameras and post your toys in all their crotch-thrusting, brick-pooping, disproportionate glory. I'll get us started with these:

But you can't see Prime's entire face in the first picture.

True, maybe if classics Prime had a telescoping neck or something, I could get it in frame

I think it's gonna take someone photoshopping their figures to get an accurate Pat Lee pose.
Maybe a photo of a shin really close to camera and a head somewhere in the far distance on top of it might work.

Still, good thread idea. I'll have to take a crack myself.

I took these photos three years ago for this particular purpose. Didn't get a lot of responses back then. Hope it's gonna be different this time around:

My pics were just starters. I'd love to see some photoshopped stuff. That's what makes it funny: the ridiculous limb and size manipulation needed to capture the Pat Lee essence. Some TF toys lend themselves better to straight up posing and photographing at weird angles but I'm sure there's people here who can do wonders with detached limbs and perspective tricks.

There may be no peace for the wicked, but the righteous can damn well get a piece whenever they feel like it.

Amazing how the crotch instantly becomes the focal point.

That's how Jim Lee likes to draw women jumping.

Chris (recalls the multitude of Psylocke crotch shots during Jim Lee's X-Men tenure...)

Did someone say "crotch thrusting"?

I think the image was censored.
