I remember those, that custom is just fucking sick crazy!!! that digibash works great as well and i would so buy it.

 

I missed the headmaster era, so I don't really have a lot of attachment to them. Looking at TFU, I can see where you could get a good homage to Hardhead out of Tankor. Since I missed him in Headmasters, my only real connection to the character is from IDW, and CD Red Alert is probably the best match to his current alt mode (without using movie molds). Besides, I'd love a version of that mold in green to go with Roadbuster and Springer.

I am sure I'll be looking for an updated Double Dealer after the upcoming spotlight, but I 'm not really sure that Red Alert will fit the bill. He'd make a great Autobot version, but I don't know how you'd represent the Decepticon half.

 

I disliked the Headmaster era, and city-bot is also a bit meh for me, so this is why I think Energon Scorponok would make a great Universe Classics Scorponok.

 

I know he has a base mode so yeah he could be Universe Scorponok.

 

I wouldn't buy it. Didn't like Energon Scorpy when he was released, wouldn't be interested now.

And I'd like to see CD Red Alert repainted as Big Shot, to continue the Micromaster homages. He'd go really well with an Autobot-badged, renamed Dropshot.

 

I thought E-Scorponok only got jet and scorpion mode? Any pics of his base mode?

So, in regard of this thread.. I also wanna ask, which is a better mold. Energon Scorponok or Cybertron Dark Scorponok?

The only 'meh' thing from Cyb D-Scorponok is probably the lack of the hook on his tail, unlike his original counterpart. But his color scheme really get into my mind..
