    Anyway, I love to display..

Henkei Megatron, Classics Constructicons, Henkei Astrotrain, ML Soundwave, along with Ravage & Laserbeak from Commemorative Soundwave. They all looks awesome. Especially when you put Laserbeak perching on Megatron's or Soundwave's arm, and Ravage sitting around his master. Perfect G1-ness................ Now, just gotta get Starscream, Ramjet, Octane & Onslaught -__-

I use him, too. I have Titanium and the Classics Reissue. Basically, I use him with the little Laserbeak and the Reissue Ravage for scale reasons. I'll probably get Univese Blaster for G1 scale accuracy, since G1 Blaster towers over Soundwave, so Universe Blaster will be bigger as well.

Music Label for sure. With a sticker set from Reprolabels. He's the right size (a smidge taller than the Seekers, but shorter than Megatron), has great articulation, and fits right in with Classics aesthetically.

The only real drawbacks are, of course, price, and lack of minions. I display G1 Ravage and Laserbeak alongside him, even if they don't actually fit inside him. The G1 cassettes actually have impressive articulation and show-accurateness for their size, and are about the only G1 figures that I think can hold their own among modern Transformers. Of course, when 25th Anniversary Ravage comes out, I'll swap him with G1.

It is a bummer that ML Soundwave wasn't engineered to hold G1 cassettes... it would have made him just about perfect. But as is, I still think he's your best bet for a Classics Soundwave.

Add my vote to Music Label Soundwave. He fits the Classics line perfectly. He is a little pricey but really worth it in my opinion. Great reinvention.

I was using the Classics (reissue G1) Soundwave, but have now switched over to Cybertron Soundwave to face off against Universe Blaster.

Never understood the appeal of ML Soundwave, myself.

So far unfortunately the only Soundwave that fits in with the Classics is G1 Soundwave. Cybertron and Titanium Soundwaves are absolute crap, Animated Soundwave is cool but the aestetic doesn't fit whatsoever...and Music Label Soundwave looks pretty cool too (don't have one, didn't want to spend that much) but IMO would be way too small to fit in.

I was actually thinking about this very topic today and was planning on using my extra Titanium Soundwave. He's my choice cause of his height and his detail.

The minute I saw ML Soundwave I knew he would fit in with classics perfectly. I use him, ML rumble and Frenzy and Real Gear Booster (he's an mp3 player, ML Soundwaves an mp3 player, I'm a lebowski, you're a lebowski) I intend to use Ravage to polish that quintet off. I also intend to add Ratbat. All we need is a Buzzsaw. :)

ML Soundwave is running cheaper than what he originally went for on some sities
