It is kinda funny. I've been wanting Animated Soundwave for quite a while and been hunting for him and the Universe Ultras for a while. Today I found all three. Now I'm happy I found them, but saddened as well. I got nothing to hunt for a while. I like finding new figures, but when I do the thrill of the hunt is gone till new figures show up.

Anyone else have this feeling?

 

Well you could always just go to this forums junkion exchange like me and pick up old stuff.

I gotta give you the props you deserve man. I'm hopeing my wal mart will have them in stock tomorrow morning.

Yes I do. I do not feel bad when theres kids in the aisle, theyre looking at figures, put then down and give me a chance to snatch em. muahahahaha

 

That's how I felt when I bought all the Deluxes recently........it's basically "YEAH!.....Awwww...."

 

I don't really like going places, so I love when I find stuff. I kinda live in a black hole, so I hardly ever find things.

Hell, I can find stuff second-hand before I can find it in stores.

Finding new stuff = one less headache = win

 

Once I'm up to date on everything I want from a line that's out, I'll go back to cruising ebay for anything from older lines I want. The thrill of the hunt is always there, just on different hunting grounds.

 

I love finding stuff but hate wasting gas.

This. To some extent Target allows online searching to see whether stuff is in stores or not. Calling in advance usually is a pain.

 

Yeah, I give props to Target.com for aiding the search but more often than not, it's not that reliable.

For example.

I went to Target.com to look at the Animated Ultra Magnus search, it said that the stores around me have him available. Which, of course, he isn't.

But it did say that he will be released on August 14th. Now the question is, is that date the online release or the store wide release?

And if all these stores around me say that he's available, does that mean that he's being confused with the other Leaders since they share the same DPCI or that they are in fact there, but sitting in the backrooms waiting for the release date?

What I do wish they used more often is the ASIN number which is actually unique to each figure. Target.com gives you that number but when you call or do a search at the store, you have to use the DPCI number.

I just got everything I was looking for and I feel pretty relieved actually. It's very nice to not have to try and hunt down things and get stressed about getting to stores just a little to late or whatever.

Now what sucked was having all the animated stuff before the store release because I knew the new stuff was coming out but I already had it* all so there was no hunting to do even for a major release.


*already having everything did not stop me from buying 3 more Prowls

I hear you there. When I found Bumblebee and Jazz (movie) I was broke! Didn't get them till MONTHS later. Almost a year.

 

I hope you got premium Jazz if you waited that long. He's so far improved that it's not even funny.

 

It just means they have Animated Leaders. although it is very possible he could be in the back somewhere....

 

what really sucks is when all you can think about is hunting, but you have no money! sometimes I would go just to go, but with gas the way it is and my car being a v-6, I stay home.

 

I remember hunting for Leader Megatron... and I finally got him. WOOT !!!

Now that I'm searching for the others... I see Leader Megatron EVERYWHERE !!!
