    Also fixed.

And you're using plural possessive, which isn't really "corrected".

    Plural and Possessive

I remember why I stopped posting here in the first place.

They were more likely rendered useless due to usage.

Convention organisers can only really afford cheaper aluminium molds rather than usual steel molds. The aluminium molds degrade to uselessness after the production run.

And the word is destroyed. Destroid is a type of Macross mecha :)

Given how badly Takara are trying to make the Classics molds look as close to G1 as possible, it seems plausible that IF they do make Thrust, they'll make their own entirely new wing mold - something more akin to Ramjet/Dirge in that the wings will probably be leg mounted with engines added the way they appeared in G1... and will probably look far better than BotCon's version which used a hybrid of the SS/RJ molds and didn't really look good (imo).

Even if the moulds for remoulded Botcon parts do still exist, Takara can't use them without FP's permission as FP owns them (as they paid for their creation).

If Thrust turns up in Henkei, he'll either have to be a ramjet repaint or Takara will have to re-do the wings.

what if they do a different thrust, all together, instead of using the ramjet mold, they put new wings on the starscream molds? thus, making it different from the botcon ones? while they would not be con headed thrusts, they'd still be thrusts :)

I think Takara probably will, hell they've done TC and their Wildrider is very close to the Botcon 08 Rodimus

This. Takara is all about making profits serving Japanese collectors. If demand is high from Japanese fans there might be some exclusive G1 accurate Thrust and Dirge forthcoming.

I think there's "make a wish" thread about those in Ganbo store (where TC is the exclusive), and TC was apparently the biggest hit they have ever had, so they might be interested in more Henkei Jetrons.

Having missed the Botcon exclusives it would be great to get Henkei Thrust and Dirge but I am not holding my breathe. I may not even get Henkei TC since I got a custom one made for me awhile ago.

About 50% of the reason I want Henkei to complete the coneheads is to see all the bitching, moaning and crying. Oh let me taste fanboi tears! Oh, the tears of unfathomable sadness! My-yummy! My-yummy, you guys!

Yes, I am an evil dick. Thank you for noticing.:D

    Yes you are.

You do realize the exclusive Henkei Skywarp and Thundercracker cost *MORE* than Botcon seekers once all is said and done. So people who are 'waiting' are not making out, they are simply being given a chance to rectify their poor decision in waiting. Same goes for Black rodimus "wildrider". Japanese exclusives are expensive.

So it doesn't justify or validate the 'wait and see for Japan to break FP exclusives' because even if they do they are more expensive so there is no benefit to fans except if they didn't like the colors (like pinkish skywarp).

That's why I enjoy the wailing so much. There's no logical reason for it. And that just makes it funny, people working themselves up over something that doesn't make a damn bit of difference to them.

As far as I can tell, none of the Henkei releases have received any remolding. All released figures use existing molds with new paint jobs. I'd thus expect Thrust and Dirge - if they get made - to be straight repaints of Ramjet like BotCon Dirge was.

I myself bit the bullet and got the Timelines Thundercracker after all that, and I'll probably save up for Dirge and Thrust later. (For some reason, they cost more than Thundercracker, anyone nothice that?)

The only 'wailing' there has ever been are 'true fans' who feel they have the 'right' to own all six classic seekers at retail prices and that FP and Hasbro screwed the 'common man' by making them exclusives.

Really? 'Cos I've seen a lot of moaning from people who's precious Botcon set isn't "exclusive" anymore.

Meh, both sides of the argument are frankly ******ed. It's just fun to laugh and point.

The only one I hope to really get is Thrust since he is a nice remold. The others I dont really care for. We already getting Thundercracker from Takara and Dirge might follow cuz he is a simple repaint. Thrust is the exclusive for me.
