I recently purchased Animated Megatron. I LOVE this toy, with the exception of not having any real pegs for the arms to lock to the shoulders.

Today, at work, I transformerd him, and when I picked him up with my right hand in vehicle mode. I felt something ... sticky. I then prayed up and down that what I had experienced with Universe Prowl was not happening to me ... again.

I lifted the hand, just lightly rubbed my finger on the black paint on the outer cockpit, and it ALL came off.

I'm just sooooo SICK of all of this BS lack of quality control by Hasbro.

Dude that sucks. I have not had this problem yet and I hope I don't. Hasbro better do something about this QC problem, everybody has less disposable income and problems like these will eventually make it easy for toy addicts to stop buying their toys.

Have heard the same from others as well.

I hope mine doesn't have any issues ;-;

I've had few problems with the QC of Animated, only thing major was SS missing his hand out of the box, the rest pretty much being some loose joints. Hope to not have to deal with this as well.

Tough luck man, that fucking sucks.

They need to quit letting Edward Paint Thinner hands work the Final QC hands on check before boxing the toys at the factory.

Weird, I'm the only one with good shoulder pegs? But yeah the sticky paint is a pretty common problem, that's why I cleaned it off and painted again myself.

Seriously, these BS paint apps from hasbro have to stop. I've had this problem too, but it doesn't really concern me that much as it's a small detail & he's usually in robot mode. I might eventually use a sharpie on it though.

I VERY jently ran my fingernail across the black paint, and it ALL CAME OFF.

WTF is up, Hasbro?! Maybe you can actually USE your profit that you make from us, and make the BLOODY TOYS BETTER!!!
