In response to the "who was disappointed by Tankor" thread:

Who was all set to be disappointed by "Tankor", but was pleasantly surprised by him?

I thought he was going to be the stupidest thing in the world (like Silverbolt), and was only going to get him for completist's sake, but after playing around with him, he's actually really neat. I still hate the giant, claw-shield-thing, and his head sits pretty low in his chest, but if you can't point out flaws in things you like, you're delusional, because nothing is perfect.

But I like him. Alot more than I thought I would.

i love him, great update to the character, and such an intricate transformation, and he tops classics astrotrain for looks in alt modes

He is not the greatest figure by any stretch, but he is still decent in my books. A worthy part of the Universe/Classics collection. Even if mine suffers from floppy joint syndrome and wing-won't-stay-in-its-peg-itis.

i liked him from first sight. overall its a fun toy and despite criticisms i like both alt modes, wish the propellers werent there though, they help make the faigure look a bit scruffy.

downside, overall it has a rather rougher look than the more neatly etched astrotrain. the lack of a neck hurts his look also.

    scruffy but fun.

I love him, but transforming his feet into a plane was difficult for me and I snapped off a piece not noticing how difficult and complex he is! I only do that with a few figures, Incinerator and Dreadwing I snapped a piece....but other than that.

I like him a lot. The colors and details were a little lacking but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a little patience! Now, Hasbro, give us some Autobots triple changers!

    Yes, please!!

A Springer with an original sculpt, whose robot mode is as amazing as Sunstreaker's, and goes from Tomahawk helicopter to race car!!

I like OcTankor. Not the best out of the first wave, but still good.

I mean, if you transform his shoulders a certain way and get him in a good pose, he looks bad ass.

I thought I probably wouldn't like him very much either, as it turns out I ended up being disappointed by Sunstreaker and Prowl wile loving Tankor :lol  I've been generally let down by the Classics line but he's definitely one of the good ones no question.

It's funny, I thought Prowl would be my favorite, and I was just lukewarm for Sunny (and was dreading Octane).

As it is, I love Sunny more than anything, think Octane is pretty decent, and am severely disappointed in Prowl... :confused2

I think he is just fine especially with the altered transformation for him as shown in the modifications thread. I really like all three of the new Universe toys but Prowl is probably my favorite. Great work on all Hasbro!

I totally dig Octane in spite of the few setbacks it has. Great articulation, great update and a totally fun transformation.

I like Octane... but I just like SUnstreaker and Prowl so much more that he's not that great in comparison to them.
