No, I don't read TF comics. But I know enough about his role to know that he was a huge Mary Sue, which only enhances what a terrible, terrible Transformer he is.

My five

1) Grapple/Inferno. Grapple has more sentimental value to me, but either one would be fine. Was disappointed that mudflap at the store just didn't seem good enough to be a classics stand-in. I'll mod an inferno to a grapple if they make a classics one. Still one of my fave and IMO most playable TFs to this day.

2) Kup with recoil and wheelie. Yeah kup's a stretch. Let alone with a targetmaster and his little buddy. Another sentimental pick, but glad to see he's so popular.

3) Blitzwing or Springer. Too much to ask to get both. But both of these guys were MUCH MUCH cleaner triplechangers than octane and astrotrain back in the day (and their classics counterparts too IMO).

4) Punch/Counterpunch.

5) Fortress Maximus.

I would almost expect an Inferno during the 25th anniversary. Would not be surprised by Fort Max given that they claim to be working on citychangers. Why no dinobots? I actually like the animated versions. The only animated toys I intend to pick up.

 

In no particular order:

- Rodimus PRIME. Not the sport car we saw, but an updated version of the Autobot Leader.

- Springer as a tripplechanger. He got too many repaints from other figures, but no new mold.

- Arcee. I like her. So what?

- Tracks

- Wheeljack

 

In no particulare order except #1 :

1- Shockwave (a nice voyager space gun!)
2- Hound

4- Insecticon (all 3)

6) MONEY. Can't believe I hadn't seen that one yet. I'm making that my number 6. I did always feel bad for hot rod though. Start 1986 Movie all sexified sports car. End it looking like a weird 70s camper truck or something. Kinda reminds me of how everyone says that your GIRLFRIEND might be in shape and sexy, but once she's your WIFE, she won't be for long.

7) Ironhide/Ratchet with a more G1 transformation scheme (i.e. bring back the gun platform). This one won't happen. But still.

 

Now THAT is a true Classics Soundwave.

 

1: WHEELJACK! Come on Hasbro, you owe us, for what pulled with him in the Armada trilogy. *taps foot*

2: Trailbreaker

3: Soundwave. An actual, for real, Classics/Universe Soundwave. Not a repaint of a remold of G1 Soundwave, crammed into a Classics-esque box.

4: Thundercracker. Don't give me that "conention exclusive" excuse. That one wasn't painted like the other two Classics seekers. You just make him a different shade of blue, and change up his stripes.

5: Smokescreen

 

Since the Classics/ Universe theme is based on updates to original designs, I'd like to list my 5 with suggested updated alternate modes.

1. Wheeljack - I like the old Stratos design, but for an update, I would go with an Acura NSX GT.

2. Jazz - I'd stick with Porsche but use either the Porsche GT9.

3. Shockwave - I'd like a voyager size purple space gun  . Not following my own rules, but I've always like Shockwave as big space gun. If they can't do that, I'd want a the War Within tank design.

4. Brawn - for an update, I'd go with a Land Rover Discovery.

Rumble - scout class? Deluxe? Just not a cassette alt-mode.
Think about it, he's probably the 4th most prominent Decepticon in G1.

Supreme class Metroplex and the Insecticons would be quite nice.

Definitely Shockwave.
And Sludge.

But Rumble is the priority.

1.) Perceptor: I can see them using the CD Red Alert as a mold for him, which is fine. as long as they remold the head.

2.) Wheeljack: A new mold. You came very close to perfecting the look with the Energon and Cybertron Downshift figures, but we need a real G1 look.

3.) Metroplex w/ Scamper: Since he won't really be big enough to be an autobot base, he could use his mobile battlestation mode.

4.) Monstructor: I know your releasing some of the combiner characters as just regular figures and that's cool.....but stop it. Atleast make Monstructor. It could follow the idw comics, where he's the only combiner in history so far...

Plus Soundwave, Shockwave, the insecticons, etc, etc....

I second the above. Especially Rodimus Prime. Even though they toy had a nice upgrade in the Titanium line. It's high time he got a decent Universe version. Oh and please a deluxe Arcee is not asking for much in today's standards is it?
