Hi. OK, so I came to Malaysia two days ago and I thought this is a good time to check out Transformers, since we don't get much back in Saudi Arabia. I found a BUNCH of Animated toys! I'm not big on them, and the only one I really want is Blitzwing. Moving on. There were alot of Movie toys. I haven't seen alot of pics of them before but they look like a bunch of Energon repaints. One toy looked interesting, but I forgot what it was. There was also Deep Space Starscream! He looks so cool! Shame I already got Thundercracker, though. Anyway, that was TRU. I went to another mall and check some import shops and I actually found Binal-fricking-tech Grimlock! I've been looking for it forever! Downside? The bastard's selling it for 150$. I actually regret talking with him about all the toys and stuff because now I don't think I have a chance of haggling him. I told him it goes for 60$ on e-bay so he said "then get it from ebay". He didn't say it in a rude way but he's got a point. I'm so pissed off! At the same store I also found Masterpiece Starscream (the packaging was similar to that of the Classics line), a Megatron, which I assume is a Diaclone (since it was a silver gun but the robo mode looked different from Masterpiece). He also had some G1 dinobots! Kick-ass! But he was selling one for 25$! But if you get two he gives you a discount. To be honest I'm thinking those Dinobots are knock-offs. He says they're metal (which is believable I guess) but it was packaged in a box with no clear plastic to look through, and the box was pretty small with Japanese writing all over. Also, written on it was "WS Dinobots". wah? Also, there was a Binaltech Asterisk (Is Asterisk supposed to be Prowl?). Anyway, what are your thoughts? I know those are vague questions, but is there anything you think I should get? I really really want the BT Grimlock but the price is ridiculous! And the Dinobots look nifty. I also found the double BB package. I want the Concept Camaro BB but I don't want to pay for the piece of crap that comes with it (all the concept camaros in the package have black smudge on it) anyway, all thoughts are welcome.
Binaltech Asterisk is a sister line of Binaltech that comes with little girl figures. if it's the subaru mold that's Red Alert and comes with AI. WS stands for worlds smallest, and its not an official release from Hasbro. hope its helps you out.
A lot of these items you can get in junkeon for alot less than he charges. The dinobots look like a OK deal so you may want to get those(even most ko's have metal parts)

@tamo: bah. shipping is just too much of a hassle. Mastercard, Visa, mailing address, crap. It's just too much! And I'm not sure I ca muster up the courage to ask to use my dad's Mastercard for "toys". @Rizuan: duh! Your post was the one I was going by! I forgot to thank you in the original post, which I had intended. I'm still pissed about BT Grimmy. I would pay an extra 20 bucks to get it right now but not at the current price. Also, I didn't go to Mid Valley, since my brother had buisness somewhere and we didn't float too far off. Is to close to Times Square or KLCC perhaps?
you should have picked that up. its the "evolution of a hero" target exclusive and i've been looking for one for while now. the concept bb on that one has exclusive battle damage and wtf are you talking about classic camaro bumblebee being a piece of crap. he is my favorite even if his design isn't as intricate as the other stuff from the movie line. and that black smudge is battle damage and it's supposed to have that. dammit i wish i was at that store. how much was the set going for?

I'd say it's good timing coz now that the TF hype is pretty low, stock's aplenty and you can find almost anything at retail. Things like BT Grimmy though, is a different story. $150 is a lil' too much I'd say, local eBay has him up for about $100 and yet there's no buyer... I can't remember the exact name. It was either on the 5th, 6th, or 7th floor of Berjaya Times Square, haha. The moment you get off the escalator it's on your left in the corner. You can't miss it. Just so you know, it looked like only 3 Grimmies were left, and in general all of the toys were on low stock (though, considering the price of Grimmy, I doubt they're going anywhere). What Ashstar said. I didn't know it was a Target exclusive but hey! It was at TRU! I don't have either of the movie BBs, so I'm simply going off all the reactions I've seen on the forums. Those reactions lead me to believe that the Movie Classics BB is *bad*! And I also heard that the CC BB was awesome. But hey, I don't have either of those, so all I did was read reviews and comments. @Ashstar: Thanks! I think Malaysians like Transformers because as I was in TRU there were at least 5 other adults/teens who stopped by to look! Thanks. Scal, errr... avid collectors, yessssss... Especially them MISB fans ya know But yes, thanks to the movie adults can freely look at TFs without getting weird wtf looks, it's all good.
i think up to now, there're still plenty of the Target Exclusive twin-pack BBB available in stores. I'd seen a lot at Toy's R US and Jusco every where in Malaysia.
