Looking good. The paint mods highlight those details really well.

My friend's Prowl was painted by a monkey if that counts as QC.

Can anyone suggest on what type of paint they use? Links would be helpful.

I have used Folkart paint (acrylic paint) and Sharpie paint pens (water-based and oil based paints)...they can be found everywhere

this is the color chart, which is a pdf file

http://www.plaidonline.com/articleim...rConvChart.pdf; http://www.plaidonline.com/searchSiteResults.asp

What is nice about the Sharpie paint pens is that they come in a variety of sizes. http://www.sharpie.com/enUS/ProductC...t_markers.html

I'm a fan of tamiya acrylic, brushed by hand, not airbrushed can be found here:

My Prowl....

Painted the inseams and sides of the bumper to give him the classic "wraparound" look. I also painted his gun, tailpipes, missile launchers and the vents on his upper arms. Still have a lot of work to do on him to iron out his QC problems....

Thanks for the tips on the sharpie markers. Now do you use water or oil based? Also when doing a clear coat do you need to do any masking?
