I'd so buy these. I love Robot heroes!!

 

Eh, I'd be down with this idea if they had more than just shoulder swivel articulation or at least weren't sculpted into permanent action poses, like several of the other "*-heroes" figures out there.

I'd still prefer to see any non-TF characters get toys as pack-ins (which, given the style of TF Animated, could be comparable with Robot Heroes). Seeing as how Animated has such a small main cast, pack-ins of non-transforming show characters would be an awesome incentive for people to buy the inevitable repaints: I plan to buy leader class Bulkhead (once I find him) simply because he comes packaged with the Headmaster unit. Prowl came with a totally superfluous traffic light to fill up the package so people would buy him, and the sidecar accessory that the new one is coming with is the only reason I'll be buying a different version of him. I have virtually no interest in the upcoming Elite Guard repaint of Bumblebee, but if were to have Sari included with him (instead of the boosters) then he would've been hot on my want-list. Although, larger things, like the mutants or the security bots, would be problematic with this format.

 

Another package idea, Sparkplug with the Reporter-bot (the one that gets his arm accidentally ripped of by Bulkhead).

EDIT2: Human Sparkplug with the other G1 construction workers? Those street racers with the head, human bad guy of that show (the one in the red and black suit)?
