I bought all 3 to keep on my desk at work.

Bumblebee has the most satisfying activation

Starscream looks great in both modes

Bulkhead drives me crazy, he even has tabs that look like they should keep his legs up and his sides tucked under, but there is no notch to put them in. So his wheel pieces just out at an angle.

BTW the movie line activators were in no way close to these activators right?

If I remember correctly.... the other activators looked big and dumb, these look cute and intricate?

Like others have said, the Starscream one is pretty great, is plenty poseable, and has his null ray cannons, so he's definitely worthwhile. Bumblebee looks good in both modes, and I even like Bulkhead, though he's definitely the weakest of the bunch.

Activator Screamer has to be pretty awesome to make up for his laughable McD's toy. They didn't even try with that thing.

those movie 's were call FAB fast action battler... those aren't like these animated activators. The activators features the one button press and its spring loaded action transformed roughly 80% ... I had act bb ; it is ok but not a must get... since deluxe bb has the most show accurate transformation. I got it long time ago on the day when I couldn't get anything else at a Tru. I could have saved that $9 if I saw deluxe bb... as of the rest.. I 'd just skip skip skip skip skip...
