Quick Question? Isnt the City Commander Armor Priced Locked at $76.99? TF Source has a Mint Box for $78.99 and a C9 box for $76.99. Now if the price is Locked shouldnt the Price be $76.99 for teh Mint Box and $74.99 for the C9 Box set? For this Exact Reason is why the set has a Locked price.
I just thought this would be something to complain about. As this is supposed to be a Locked Price Item TF Source is breaking that rule by upping the price. Its just $2.00 but to some people thats all it takes. I think that this is a Blatent way to breaking the Lockdown rule. This is just about always the way it starts.
Because all boxes are not guaranteed mint delivered to them. Just delivered. And MINT means they spend extra money to ship it to you to keep it mint. I am not sure what the beef is. The alternative is 'ships it like we sees it' and have people gamble if it gets to them in the condition they want.
Then shouldnt they add that extra cost to the Shipping not the Item. Look I already have a set paid for I am just thinking on how every chance someone gets to over price something just because.
All it does is give the buyer the option of a better package,i dont think shipping has anything to do with it.When they recieve the product they inspect and make 2 piles and then ship the same. If you want loose(like me) get the 74.99 but if you keep misb get the upgrade.
Then buy it at the regular price... oh wait, but you want someone at the warehouse to shift through the boxes and get you best looking one for free and guarantee that the box will be mint when you get it?
Well I have a friend who sells on ebay for 10 years now and Shipping is the cost of shipping the package and the Packing Material to pack it. Okay I dont think you guys see where I am comming from. 1. C9 Box City Commander Set = $76.99 Locked Price 2. Mint Box City Commander Set = $78.99 + $2.00 above Locked Price If thats the case then shouldnt you Lower the C9 Price by $2.00 to $74.99 and sell the Mint Box Sets for the Locked Price of $76.99.
All complainers should read that. The locked price represents the price for a city commander delivered in acceptable shape (usually C8 or better is the standard deal I think? been a long time). Because this is all the company itself is guaranteed to receive. The store does not receive 100% mint items and we can't expect them to. When we ask for a mint item, we are paying not only for the item itself, but the work that goes into identifying a mint one from the shipment, and the packing to ensure it stays mint as it's shipped to you. value added to the product is what you're paying 2 bucks for.
No, no you really shouldn't. The base price is the base price for the item, that's it. The extra $2 is a service charge for picking the best of the lot and then carefully applying extra wrapping and packaging. Is this seriously such a big deal?
The locked price is for a regular item. With no special care given. Just shipped out to you. If you want an employee to find a mint one out of the case, take special care to ship it to you and retain the ultra-mintness, you're going to pay $2 for that service.
Are you seriously bitching about $2? If having mint packaging (you know, that stuff any rational person will probably throw away) really matters, $2 seems a small price to pay. If it doesn't matter... don't pay it. What's the problem?
So, what you're saying is the locked price shouldn't be affected by anything. What about shipping? I mean, I am billed way more than the fixed price on my CC. By your logic, TFsource should lower their price to include all form of handling. Bottom line is, they offer the product, like any other online retailer, at the fixed price. I don't see a problem here.
