Well, I don’t think he was trying to justify taking a Grimlock for a Grimlock. I think he just figures it’s a bit easier to get away with to replace a box that has a T-Rex photo on the box with a T-Rex toy. Had he put a car or the Starscream in the TFA Grimlock box it would be too obvious. But then again, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Walmart employee wouldn’t notice a jet in a T-Rex box (or wouldn’t care).

Yeah. I bought a Cybertron Dark Scorponok without looking at it too carefully and took it home to find out it was the Energon one. Those people are real jerks so I had to drive back out there to return it... I was pissed when I found out and had to go through all that trouble.

That sucks, Tamo. I hate when this happens. Although, I probably would've bought that Starscream. :lol

Look! It's a new seeker! Shitstorm!

Everytime I see this happening in stores locally, I take a pic with my cellphone before bringing it to the customer service. My gallery so far:

XD...someone actually swapped Deluxe Brawl for Concept BB? Now I'll admit the CC is a bit..overrated, but to exchange it for one of the worst deluxes in the movie line? XFD

I don't think I've ever actually seen any of this go down, thankfully, but the kind of people that do this..it's just wrong.

I've only seen it once where I live and it was a Walmart Legends 2 pack that was supposed to be Domino/Cannonball...someone swapped out the Domino and put in a Longshot

I totally would have bought the Galvatron. Heh, maybe the guy who put the RID Prime in the Galvatron box thought he was doing someone a favor by putting in a toy that was unavailable!

that is exactly it, theres like two ppl at the service desk and like hundreds of thousands of products, sometimes to get through the day they just have to make a call, now they ask if anything is wrong with it so if the customer says no then THEY are at fault, and then still it is the department associates fault for putting it back on the shelf and not sending it to claims, THEY should atleast know their department
