Sorry if there's a thread on this already, but I bought a Masterpiece Skywarp in the Junkion Exchange, and he showed up very stinky from cigarette smoke. How can I un-stink this guy?

I mean, I know he's evil, but none of my other figs want to stand next to him.

Mods: will someone fix the typo in my subject line, plz? :)

Get a box, and some baking soda. Put skywarp in the box and the baking soda and close the top. Let it sit for a few hours. that should work.

This happens to me here and there. I have a surefire 100% way. I tried the baking soda and it did nothing. But Glade makes a carpet deorderizer powder. Its about $2 and its in a large bottle. Get a bowl and sprinkle some powder in the bottom, covering the bottom of the bowl. Place the figure in it. Begin sprinkling the powder over the figure. Make sure you OVER DO IT! More the better!!! Let it sit for 3 days or more. After that time, simply run the figure over some warm water and dry. VOILA!

The problem any of the above methods is that you're adding stuff.. so its going to smell like that... which can be fine if it's better than cigarette smoke.

I've heard that newspapers and apples can absorb bad odors (not together).

Otherwise I'd just put him outside in the shade in the breeze... if you've got a good area for that. Just give it a day or two, he'll air out.

The best thing to do is to start smoking, then you won't notice the smell on the toy any more.
