did targetmaster hotrod come with metal toes and rubber tires? cause i just bought one the other day, and he has metal toes and rubber tires. i was told he wasn't supposed to have them, but have plastic toes and plastic wheels

I think Takara also did the same with Targetmaster Hotrod when it was release later.... | |

There are no Hotrods with plastic tires(regular or reissue). The Hotrods were regular with metal feet, regular with plastic feet, and finally targetmaster with plastic feet. If you have one thats anything different then you have either a reissue or a parts sway. Also here is more info from Fred's Variant page
Hotrod:
Type 1 regular version, large thigh stickers, metal toes (japan)
Type 2 regular version, large thigh stickers, plastic toes (japan)
Type 3 tm version, large thigh stickers, plastic toes (taiwan)
Type 4 tm version, small thigh stickers, plastic toes (taiwan)
Type 5 reissue (regular version) reverted molding, metal-toes (China)
Type 6 reissue, targetmaster version (in-process) | |
