Here is some little things you may not know about the death star transformers.
Bot mode:
-when there is no light saber in its right hand, pushing the button on it will make a firing noise, everybody knows that. But if you don't release the button and continue to maintain it pushed, it will be followed by an explosion noise.

-When he hold the light saber in its right hand, pushing the button on it will make the light saber lit and produce noise, everybody knows that. But if you push sporadically the button while it is lit, it will make fighting an whooshing noise.

Death star mode:
-When you push the button on the back of the death star, it does either a detonator noise, or a "You may fire, when ready" quote from Vader; in both case, it is followed by a firing and explosion noise. Everybody knows that. But if you don't release the button and continue to maintain it pushed, you can hear 4 new different quotes from Vader.

I hope it was new form some of you.

That toy look really nice, I think I saw it once or twice in store, but I didn't want to pay Canadian markup price for it (think it was 59.99$). It's one of those thing that it's on my "to-get-one-day" list  

 

in bot mode, mine sometimes does not make any sound effect when the button on the right hand is pushed, but it gives noise every time when the saber is inserted.

 

One of only 2 Star Wars Transformers I even bothered to purchase. The other was the AT-AT Walker.

 

Really? He was all over the damned place here.

 

and he is pretty cheap on Ebay now. just go search the name and you ll get a bunch of them.

 

That sucks. We still have 'em sitting on shelves at TRU here in Maryland. Hmm, haven't done a price check in a while. I should go look.....

I'm waiting for TRU to clearance him up in Canada.

They did that with Primus, and I saved a bundle thanks to that.

 

Nice. I hope he goes on $20-$30 clearence soon.

 

I got mine for 30 bucks from the clearance center at Wal Mart and then a lil flirting with that gal at the counter got me another 5 bucks off. If only she were more human looking.

my target has a load of those still they look cool and all but i cant pay that much for a star wars TF

 

I see him all over the place, and not that I paticuarly want him but it sounds like they made a good use of sound potential in him. Most things I have are 1-3 noises tops.

 

TRU has a dozen or so at all times. Look at the bottom of the aisle
