Well, the good is that we did get some cool toys out of it. Aside from that, yeah "Kiss Players" wasn't the um best of concepts, especially for a "relaunch" Well, I think Alternators Swerve and Alternators Camshaft are the proofs for my prediction. When each of those toys were "announced", the fandom ranted and raved for new molds and complained about the repaints (as if it was a secret that the line needed them to survive). When peeps found out they were "rare", the next thing you know the ebay prices were sky high. Speaking of "Kiss Players", IRRC the fandom largely recoiled from it totally. Then, when the figures actually came out, they weren't made in as many numbers. When people found out that the toys were really cool, you have people scrambling for them. KP Hot Rodimus still sells between $150-$185 shipped, which is over triple his srp. Convoy and Autorooper are near the $100; Convoy still goes for around $120 shipped while I've seen the price on Autorooper increase to $100 or shipped. Generally, the past is the best predictor of the future. If that's the case, I don't see things changing from the above all that much . . .
