Once Blackarachnia arrives from Heero, my ops/megs battle pack and voyager megatron arrive from Ebay, I will have all of wave 1!

Can't wait for leader class and voyager prime!

NAH, I'm just kidding. The wait is hard. The first wave of Voyagers just showed up in land of nice people and I'm hunting for Starscream and Bulkhead. Not to mention I still have to find BB.

Also, don't blame Hasbro, it's the retailers that didn't want Animated, they wanted more of those great selling moviue figs.

The delay is unbearable - I've already given in and purchased Blitzwing, Lockdown and Starscream (for reasonable prices) off eBay, and am saving up for Lugnut. Why the vendors prefer those Movie toys over the Animated line is totally beyond me.

One thing I know, however, is that the wait has definitely worked the Animated fans' frenzy to Defcon One. When the toys finally hit the stores, there's going to be a hullabaloo. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if fights and robbery were to break out at my local toy retailer - it's happened before.

How much is a "reasonable price", anyway? I'm thinking I may buy the first couple of waves legitly and then get the rest off of ebay.

 

although not the same thing, there is also the half-bumblebee that doesnt transform that comes with Longarm, athe old bumblebee toy, and the ultimate one.

Hurray for Canada! Finally something to hunt during spares at school. Hopefully we get the Leaders first too.

 

Oh well, I'll just have to wait till June when they're really launched!

 

Yeah it sucks waiting like this. I've got Blackarachnia, Grimlock & Prowl, but it just makes me want to buy the others now and I'm trying to hold off and get them at retail, because I'm really tight on cash this year with the cut backs at my store.

I anxiously await the release of the Animated toys. The lull (since I didn't get many movie toys) has allowed me to plug some holes in my Starscream collection, and get some more kitchen knives.

 

Lockdown went for $14.99, Starscream for $22.99 and Blitzwing for $42.99. Considering the obscene prices other auctions were going for, and the fact that my far-flung region of the world gets this stuff only several months or so after the rightful release date (Wave One probably won't reach these shores until Christmas), I consider these pretty sweet deals.

 

And how much was the shipping? Or is your far-off region closer to China than, say, America (Australia maybe?)

 

Shipping was a flat rate of $10.10 each. I reside somewhere in South-East Asia.
