On the combining thing... if you have the TRU Voyager/Ultra Megatron or either of the mold's releases from Superlink Tidal Wave can unofficially combine with them in the same way he can combine with Megatron for the most part (and it seems to be more a happy accident than anything that was intended). I've done it with Micron Legend Shockwave and Superlink Galvatron G and it looks pretty cool.

Sounds interesting, any pics to share with us please? No wonder my Energon wave refuses to fuse with the Energon leader Megs... *looks around and leaves room*

I've only got Micron Legend one, and he's cool and show accurate and all that, but I hear he's a bit costly lately. I think Energon version looks very nice as a figure.

Which colour scheme Tidal Wave was in Armada game? I remember he wasn't purple, but can't remember much else.

The Takara versions of Transformers is alot more show-accurate than North America.

I think he was the color of the US toy version.

I'd take some, but Tidal Wave is currently still packed up from my recent move.

Remmy's got pics of a combination betwen SL Megs and Tidalwave in one of his acts, but I don't feel like looking it up.

The ML version is one of those figures I'd like, but I'll probably never get, I usually don't have the will to pay much for it, even if it does look nice. I've got the Energon one, and I like it.

Like it's been mentioned, it depends really on what you want your Tidal Wave for, single figure display, Minicon/micromaster base, or to combine with Megs. I think that makes for a difference in which scheme you want.

well personally i just want to display them separately, i think i'll combine them just to look how the combined form is and then separate back.
