Yeah, he's good as a vehicle or a combiner piece, but atrocious otherwise. He's held together by a single tab too. Awful.

nope, I love him too, and actually have never combined him with prime.

but to Ultra Magnus-1: if you don't also have rid prime, get him! his shiny red chrome is too good to be missed.

I have him, and he's OK.

As people have mentioned, he's mainly there for the power-up mode. The truck mode is surprisingly good too, and the robot is fairly articulated (especially the arms).

Blue Bolts is not brilliant. It's an OK concept weapon (turns into three types of gun) but the execution is kind of lacking, in the end. I would have preferred a normal gun and more work on UM's robot-mode legs, maybe making them collapsible or putting the knee joint lower down (would have been OK to retain very large shin-front panels).

Still, he's by no means the worst mold I have in my collection. And if you have RiD Prime, Magnus is a definite buy.

I have him and really enjoy the figure. It can be a bit flimsy at times, but just have to be careful. Robot mode isn't very articulate, but still nice imo. I have problems with vehicle mode keeping ramps up for other cars. And when it comes to being combined with Op, Omega Rocks!!
