So, it seems both Hasbro and Takaratomy have made some mention of there being a MP Thundercracker down the line, my question is, what should he look like?

Personally, I'm hoping for a nice dark blue for the over-all color, maybe even with metal flakes. Black vertical stabilizers, and a matt sliver torso.

I;d like to see his color scheme closer to G1 the way Hasbro MP Starscream is, with the stripes and such. Though, I'd like to have the intakes painted the way they are on MP Skywarp, that is, body color on the outside and silver on the inside.

I'm not concerned so much with what he'll look like but rather that I'll actually be able to see him on store's shelves...

    I'm hoping he'll be a blue F-15 Eagle, personally.

The head should be remolded for an expression of disinterest and an expression of wrath.

I'm not worried about what it'll look like as long as its a good paint job. We've lived with years of different colored seekers, with different colored missiles- only with different names.no remolds, or anthing... I'm fine with it. All the seekers should be made about 3 months apart, and no exclusives- except maybe a sunstorm- which I personally don't group with the original 6-- botcon already gave the finger to seeker completeists (the orginals) by making exclusives.

Dark blue w/metallic flake > toon blue.

I think if they repainted Masterpiece Starscream into the other seekers the best we could hope for would be Thundercracker and Skywarp. Anything more than that and its getting a bit obscure for them to invest a $50 figure in.

Definitely to look more like the toy than the cartoon. Personally, I'd rather have a Sunstorm since I already have a custom TC,but still would welcome an official version.

yes, yes. the g1 toy had a nice shade/finish and itd be great if they replicated that (tho unlikely, much like they abandoned the metallic effect with the rid leader molds).

I'd like him to be a blue version of Starscream...
I'm not that picky, but, as much as I love MP SS, I don't think I'd get TC at a $48 price point.

A part of me wants him to be as cartoon accurate as possible - baby blue. But I think as an MP figure he'll look better with a navy blue color resembling his G1 toy.

Basically they should take their ques from MP Skywarp, use the same deco scheme (but obviously in Thundercraker colours), The shade of blue should be something that looks mildly realsitic, and it should be painted all over like MP Skywarp not bare plastic like both the Screamers.

I agree with alex kingdom, use Masterpiece Skywarp as a template. Make Thundercracker a dark blue like the G1 toy, but all over including the fins and nosecone like MP Skywarp. Make anything that was purple on MP Skywarp black on MP Thundercracker and keep the same shade of Silver on the same parts of the torso. The only thing that I would change, is remold the face to have a different expression.

I'd agree with that also, Skywarps grimace is chuffin' awful. I'd rather he have a new face or failing that Starscreams sneer.

I think a realistic Navy Blue would be quite nice, especially if, like me, you intend to leave the stickers off. The nice thing about Skywarp and Takara Greenscream is that the stickers are seperate, so if you want to toon-ify them up you can, but if you prefer a more discreet finish on the jet, you have that option as well.

I know this sounds dumb, but as for the face remold, I'd quite like one of the heads to be a cheerful smile. After all, Thundercracker was the least evil of the G1 Decepticons.

I think Masterpiece Thundercracker should look like a bucket of fried chicken and anybody that disagrees with me is a friggin idiot!!!!

But if we can't have the chicken I guess this will do:

I cast my vote for a slightly darker, metallic blue over cartoon accuracy. Is it Starfire Mk2 who's done the really cool MP TC repaints? That's pretty much how I'd like him to be if I'm going to buy a repaint MP... (goes off to search Radicons threads)

I'd prefer the dark blue of the G1 toy rather than the lighter blue of the cartoon model...but either way I'd just be happy to have the three original jets in masterpiece form.

*edit: that pic Noisemaze posted would be great*

I'm with this guy. Metallic + shiny = awesome.
