i recently got an almost perfect sixshot to add to my collection. the only problem is that once it arrived i found that it had major cigarette smoke stains all over it. i know i can get new stickers from reprolabels, but what about the stained plastic?
help me please if you can as this peice is really in excellent condition other wise and i don't want to sell it on or get another.

 

That's a challenge- the stains are soot from the cigarettes embedded into the plastic.

What kind of child smokes so heavily as to leave stains on their toys? It seems as though you'd need to be smoking in the same room to really have such an effect.

I knew a guy who had a Marlboro Wheeljack in similar condition, but I felt they added to the character of the piece and were very appropriate. It was still a terrific deal- he purchased it at a low price at an estate sale.
