I'm still getting masses of G1's on a monthly basis- have slowed down a bit but one of I got recently has kinda disappointed me..
One of my "Grails" was predaking, after getting sniped left right and centre on the vintage metal versions I spotted a good deal on a takara reissue and now I have it I feel let down..
I don't know if its because I've always wanted it or the hype surrounding it but I just feel he's just not as cool as I expected...
The merged form of predaking just feels cumbersome, sure he's got decent articulation and its huge but it just bugs me how it fits together and looks, the legs look weird in my view - the connector not being a central as I would have hoped and divebombs wings on the back seem difficult to keep stable.
I've hunted and hoped I was just transforming him wrong but I got it right and its just not what I hoped- don't get me wrong its a cool toy but it just didn't live up to my expectations...
Anyone else had similar experiences? |

It is by far the single toy I own that I hate the most. I liked Armada Sideswipe more than that piece of crap.
Also Leo Convoy. I seem not to have a good track record with Japanese exclusive Convoys. BWII Galvatron is cool though.

Titanium’s I just don’t like them when I have them.
Actually most of the movie toys were bad quality wise. Longarm, Stockade, Landmine are the ones I would say that are solid.
