Where the f*ck are the movie voyagers? I live in NYC and there arent any at the TS TRU, none at the Target in Brooklyn, and I cant order the damn things off the HTS website... what gives?

This is really getting on my nerves. It seems like everyone outside the city has at least spotted Premium Ironhide and Blackout. I'm in the market for Landmine, Leader Brawl, Premium Ironhide and Blackout but I doubt I'll be able to pick those up in one swoop (n.; dinobot) unless HTS finally takes that stupid yellow "coming soon" tab off their website and puts these things up. How could they do that for Animated and not the TMVs?!!?!! :(

Leader Brawls and Landmines are just about the only TFs I see on the shelves these days.

Um...you do realize that this a normal drought time for toys as stores focus on outdoor summer items? Also the economy kinda blows right now so the older toys arent selling as fast so stores have even less reason to order them. Patience is good

Dude, the toy drought was last year. That's not an excuse. There's places in California that are flooded with Premium Ironhide and Blackout (and some Premium Leaders apparently). And the economy wasnt exactly booming right after the release of the movie last year.

It's hard to be patient for movie toys when some people in the midwest are already able to walk into a Kmart/Target/Walmart and buy Animated at retail price.

I just started seeing Premium stuff last week. Actually, Ironhide and Blackout aren't here yet...they're on their way, just be patient. :)

Quit being such a baby Nerdling, man the f*ck up. Haha.

I'm actually waiting for the Premium Deluxes myself. My bro picked up both Premium voyagers for me awhile back. Blackout blows. Ironhide is the shit.

You began collecting because of the movie, or Classics, or some line that only started very recently, right?

Every summer, which usually coincides with the shift from one toyline to the next, there is a drought of products. Sometimes, it's much worse (post-Classics, and now this year with the lack of Animated) than others (Armada, Energon), but it happens, and it's rather consistent, from the spring all the way to early fall in some areas. It means that the final-wave figures are usually scarce as chains stop ordering that product, and the new toyline is only trickling out and hasn't reached saturation yet.

^^^ You might be right. I started collecting midway through Classics. Back then, I saw a lot of Voyager Primes, Jetfires, Mirages, Ramjets, and Cliffjumpers. But that still showcased a good chunk of the best molds from that line. This transition into Animated is going so slow. Then again, it could be because I only picked up Leader Prime and 08 BB from the first releases, whereas most of you probably have the ones being redecoed for Premium.

As far as Premium Blackout goes, I dont think his pictures do him justice. The first version had a nice paint scheme but this new "old bones" colored one really makes him look mean. I want!

Oh and I saw the Target exclusive deluxes (premiums?) today. That blue looks bad on all of them. But, if you want BB, you should be able to remove the paint rather easily. Also saw Leader Megs, paint scheme is better, but he still has those pink things and he's still Megs. :(

I think you just have to give it some time. I did see 3-4 Desert Brawls couple weeks ago at the Brooklyn Target, but I guess you can still check out the TRU near NYU/Cooper Union or the KB Toys in Bay Ridge, which had buncha Landmines last I checked.

On the other hand, stores around Brooklyn are kinda slow to stock up when it comes to TFs.

I think I'll check out the Cooper Union TRU tonight before work. I'd like to get one at a time so I can appreciate them more. I didnt know there was a KB in Bay Ridge. I know there's one in Herald Square, but I hate going there. Thanks for the heads up.

No prob, hopefully you find what you need.:)

As for the KB in Bay Ridge, just take the R to 86th St. Right next to a McDonalds, right across from a Gap/Game Stop if I remember right.

Normal toy drought time really... around here the only Premium I've picked up in the stores was Leader Prime. I had to get Premium BB from BBTS...
