Or a toy ark (no pun intended to the boards) that was big enough for the original toys to fit in? I know Prime's trailer was meant to act as a playset and of course all the big'uns turned into bases for the minis/combiners to work with, but I never saw or heard about a toy ARK except for that little tiny one that came out in the last year or so.

I think they MAY be with Animated. Remember reading about it somewhere but not totally sure where.

Yes they did! But they put it in the wrong line & called it the GI Joe Defiant Launch Complex. ( Hasbro bastards!!! :mad )

I'm gonna get one of those someday & make a custom Ark playset.

There was however a GoBots Ark equivalent. No idea if it was Guardians or Renegades.
I remember wearing it as a backpack (though it may not have been designed for such a purpose).

I digest - yes, that worked very well for also housing Mirage, Huffer, Constructicons, etc. Bit too small for Soundwave and Optimus.

Actually, that may be my great internet toy quest - get that GoBot ship - such nostalgia. It's probably crap, though.

    I'm posting out loud again...

I had that thing too. It was pretty funky looking. I also still have Zod somewhere.

No, but they really should. Like pack all classics figures with a piece of it.

A ark would have been cool but there was S.T.A.R.S Command center and the Activity center so I guess there was at least something :)

    Chaos Convoy - it's called a malapropism. ;)

Named after a Dickens character, I believe.

That's the deliberate confusion of two words for the purpose of humour or character, not the GoBot ship.

But I wander off the tropic again. Nope. No Ark toy yet, really.

And I'd rather have bits of an Omega Supreme or Metroplex toy than an Ark, if such were to be offered with deluxes.

    Ebay:
actually, some idiot a while back tried that stunt on Ebay. took the Defiant, and repainted it a solid color and on each wing put a giant Autobot sigil on it.
(the bastiches didn't even paint it Yellow- for pete's sake!)

i was pissed on 2 fronts. 1. they painted a Defiant (which, if they had done their homework, they woulda got MONEY$$$$ selling it as it was)
    2. they admitted they had no clue what it was, yet they had enough information to call it the ark, knew what year it came out, etc.

but it would be nice to have an ark, can you imagine one the size of the Amidala shio from Episode 1?
    dream on that, kids...

Does anyone got pics I could see one of these knock-offs at least or some links?

I woulda thought the Robot Hereos woulda been the perfect chance to sell an ARK playset with some exclusive Robot Heroes figures. That way they wouldn't have to make it too big or too expensive.
